Announcing MA ACPD Release 7.0

The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) is excited to announce the availability of Release 7.0 of the Massachusetts All-Payer Claims Database (MA APCD).
MA APCD Release 7.0 features data for 2013-2017 with minimum claims run-out through June 2018. The MA APCD contains data collected from private and public payers of eligible health care claims for Massachusetts residents. The release contains eight files types, including medical, pharmacy, and dental claims with associated membership, provider, product, and benefit plan data.
Highlights of enhancements to MA APCD Release 7.0 include:
- Member Eligibility data submissions from December 2013, December 2014, December 2015, December 2016, December 2017, and June 2018.
- MassHealth Enhanced Eligibility (MHEE LDS) data that provides a view of a member on any given day available to recipients of MassHealth data.
- Updated master patient indexes, allowing for longitudinal, cross carrier data linkages by patient including availability of a MEMBERLINKEID crosswalk to Release 6.0.
- Three new data submitters are included in Release 7.0.
