CHIA collects financial and patient-level data from Massachusetts health care payers and providers. Health care researchers can use this data to analyze and report on population health management, quality outcomes, costs and pricing variations. The MA APCD and Case Mix User webinars are the opportunities for researchers and CHIA staff to discuss the data, analytical tools and research methodologies.
