Case Mix Workgroup Webinar - Tuesday, December 22, 2020 @ 3:00 p.m.

The MA APCD and Case Mix User Workgroup webinars are open monthly meetings for CHIA staff and external users to discuss CHIA data. The webinars are also an opportunity to ask questions about content and talk about analytical tools and methodologies.
Our next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 22 at 3:00 p.m.

This Tuesday's agenda includes:
- Case Mix Knee/Hip Replacement Volume compared to MA APCD;
- Admission Source Codes;
- Emergency Department Surge Volume;
- Tracking Observation Stays;
- Principal Diagnosis;
- Principal Indicator;
- Race, Ethnicity and Hispanic Indicator;
- Visit Sequencing.
The Center for Health Information and Analysis collects detailed financial and patient-level data from Massachusetts payers and providers. CHIA's data is available to state agencies, providers, payers, and health care researchers for health research in the public interest.
