MA APCD Webinar - Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m.

The Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA) MA APCD and Case Mix User Workgroup meetings are an opportunity for MA APCD and Case Mix data users and CHIA's in-house data experts to discuss analytical techniques, data issues, and data quality. The meetings are also also used to clarify content as well as to enable sharing of information, tools and methodologies.
The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 24 at 3:00 p.m.

This Tuesday's agenda topics will include:
- Insurance Type Code 'ZZ';
- Expected National Provider Identifier (NPI) Volume;
- Difference between Carrier Specific Unique Member ID and MemberLink EID;
- ICU Length of Stay;
- Codes for Mechanical Ventilation and Respiratory Volume.
CHIA collects detailed financial and patient-level data from Massachusetts payers and providers. CHIA's rich data resources are available to state agencies, providers, payers, and health care researchers requiring data for health research in the public interest.
