The Massachusetts Center for Health Information and Analysis (CHIA), the Massachusetts eHealth Institute (MeHI), the Donaghue Foundation, the Harvard Medical School Department of Health Care Policy, and Freedman HealthCare are teaming up to host this challenge! Using actual cost data from Massachusetts and New Hampshire, this is your invitation to show us how you would help consumers use this valuable information.

Why?
The cost of healthcare is now the greatest financial concern for Americans and almost half have difficulty paying their out-of-pocket medical costs. Bipartisan state and federal interests seek to increase price transparency.
Americans could be helped if they had the tools to easily identify which providers are higher quality and lower cost for office visits and diagnostic tests. Fixing that problem is the goal of this contest.
